Dear Ms. Bass, I just read Life Is Sweet (used, sorry) & really enjoyed it, but I hadda write — even tho I’m probably not the only one — & say I’m pretty sure we still make this strawberry cake! In fact, my daughter’s had it for her birthday more than once. (Her special day is in the summer & this is a great cake to serve cold.)
So glad you enjoyed the book! And always glad to meet another strawberry cake fan. It was my sister’s favorite birthday cake when I was growing up, so I always think of it as a great birthday cake.
Hello Ms. Bass, I’m reading the new release The Witch Hitch and so far I’m enjoying the turn of events and surprises. It’s been so enjoyable I almost finished in a day I had to pace myself. As I was reading I’ve noticed a name change for one of the characters. Sarah’s boyfriend was introduced as Mark but then was later introduced again as Dave. This left me a bit confused as I read it I wondered who is Dave a new boyfriend a coworker? But then the same characteristic of his, being marriage phobic, came up, is this a hiccup?
